Set in 52 acres of bushland in the foothills of the Otway
Ranges, Planet Mud Outdoor Adventures offers a range of exciting
high-adrenalin activities that are suitable for all ages.
The only adventure centre in Victoria to offer paintball,
globeriding and Segway all in the one location, Planet Mud is the
perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors while
keeping everyone entertained.
Segway is a hugely popular activity that lets riders aged 10 and
over explore offroad tracks on an easy-to-manoeuvre two-wheel
vehicle with extra fat tyres. Planet Mud's X2 Segway machines
feature a gyroscope that helps them safely tackle rough terrain and
turn corners with ease - all the better for enjoying the centre's
cross-country adventure course.
Planet Mud is also the place to try globeriding, also known as
zorbing, where thrill-seekers are securely strapped inside a
3.3-metre-high transparent inflatable globe and then propelled
downhill at high speed. A cushion of air beneath the globe protects
riders from the ground, and lets them enjoy this extreme sport in
safety and comfort.
For groups there's nothing like the fun of paintball, with
Planet Mud offering a variety of game scenarios as well as their
popular tournament-style field. Games run for around 2.5-3.5 hours
and morning and afternoon sessions are available. Fully trained
referees ensure all the rules are followed, allowing everyone to
enjoy themselves in a safe and controlled manner.
Planet Mud Outdoor Adventures is located in Yeodene, which is
only half an hour from Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road, or one
hour from Geelong.
