The Geelong Highland Gathering has grown into the biggest and
most diverse celebration of Scottish culture in Victoria and one of
the major Scottish events in Australia attracting interstate and
international performers.
You can witness or partake in traditional highland dancing, be
captivated by the true essence of folk music, experience Scottish
Country Dancing displays, rove amongst a variety of authentic
market stalls selling their celtic wares, be enchanted by Scottish
dogs, horses and Highland Cattle...throw in some haggis tossing,
genealogical displays, wood-chopping competitions, archery,
children's activities and a children's farmyard.
Be wowed by the Scottish Heavy Games, caber tossing, Scottish
historic military re-enactment groups - all are part of a great day
out, a true family occasion!
