Proudly presented by Portland Observer in conjunction with Committee for Portland - Revitalise Portland Group, the Portland Easter Saturday Fair is held annually in Percy Street, Portland between Henty and Julia streets. With a focus on free family fun, highlights of the fair include: live local music, community groups and organisations, free children's craft activities and face painting, Easter Bunny and friends, and local dance school demonstrations, plus market stalls, local produce, and retailer's specials.
The Portland Easter Saturday Fair attracts around 10,000 people annually, who are entertained by live music and performances plus more than 80 food, market and community stalls. Families, young and old come to enjoy good food, good music and unique, local products.
The event comprises: Existing Percy Street businesses; Take-away food vendors providing a wide range of culturally diverse food; Free activities for children; General merchandise and arts and craft stalls; Community stalls; and Live music and performances.
