Best Places to Camp in Victoria

If it’s independent ratings that pique your interest consider these spots that are highly-rated on Google Maps:

  • Marengo Holiday Park: In the family-friendly township of Apollo Bay this holiday park and camping ground has powered and unpowered sites as well as self-contained cabins that offer ocean views and even spas. There’s a swimming beach at its front door plus it includes a playground and disabled access.
  • Great Otway National Park: This vast national park includes some of the best camp spots in Victoria thanks to its beaches, waterfalls, rainforests and more.   • Camping at Johanna Beach: Located between Glenaire and Lavers Hill, this rugged beach offers a range of camping options in a district steeped with history. It’s popular for salmon fishing and surfing.
