BE TRANSPORTED BACK IN TIME
Friday 20 September to Sunday 6 October 2019
9am - 5pm daily with late night screenings on Thursday / Friday / Saturday ‘til 7pm
The 'Story of the Road' mini-series includes five short, five minute films which connect visitors to their immediate surrounds by sharing stories of indigenous history, the diggers making of the road, community and what the region is known for today.
Located in Torquay, Anglesea, Lorne, Wye River and Apollo Bay, shipping containers converted into art-deco inspired cinemas will house each short film.
Visitors are encouraged to journey the length of the road, peer behind the curtains and enjoy an intimate viewing of the successive Story of the Road.
Due to the intimate nature of the cinemas, visitor numbers are limited to 5-12 each 10 minutes. There may be a short wait at busy times. Registration is encouraged.
Winner must be over 21 years old. Pick up / drop off is at Marcus Hill. Hire-a-Kombi hire period - Friday 20 Sept - Mon 23 Sept (3 nights). Winner drawn 20 Aug. Good luck!
