Take an hour (or a day) to explore the spectacular Surf Coast Walk - it showcases the beautiful coastal landscape of the region and the untouched natural beauty. The Anglesea Golf Course is the place to meet the real locals, with beautiful kangaroos coming out to graze at dusk and dawn. It is a beautiful sight to see.

Be welcomed to the calmness of the Anglesea River. Relax and cook a BBQ with the family while the kids try stand up paddleboarding or canoeing.
WILDLIFE
Anglesea is renowned for its wildlife, particularly the kangaroos and wallabies. The Anglesea Golf Course is the place to meet the real locals, with beautiful kangaroos coming out to graze at dusk and dawn. It is a beautiful sight to see. 29 mammal species have been recorded in Anglesea and more than 100 species of native birds thrive here including the Crimson Rosella, Bronzewing pigeons and a variety of Honeyeaters.

LET'S WALK
Surf Coast Walk is a marked trail commencing at Point Impossible and passing through famous Bells Beach, the Iron Bark Basin, Point Addis, Anglesea, Aireys Inlet and finishing at Fairhaven. While the total distance is 44km, the walk consists of several sections of varying lengths to suit your energy level.
Anglesea Art Walk - Experience the joy of discovering a series of unique mosaic art works as you stroll along a 2.5km walk through Anglesea
Point Addis Koorie Cultural Walk - Enjoy this 2km return walk that commences from Point Addis. There are signs along the way that interpret aspects of their unique way of life and show how they lived in harmony with the environment.
WINERIES & PRODUCE
There are many fantastic local wine and food producers in the region. Pick up a copy of the Otway Harvest Trail and go on a mouth-watering tour of the Surf Coast hinterland. Seasonally opened.
FLORA & FAUNA
Amazingly, about a quarter of Victoria’s plant species can be found here in the Anglesea Heath, including over 80 different types of Orchids.
