About

Come and experience an Australian coastal summer at Apollo Bay Backpackers in their retro beach house styled hostel. This place has been enjoyed by young (and young at heart) adults for generations.

They offer dorm style accommodation to like minded travellers from all corners of the globe. Apart from a bed, they offer kitchen and laundry facilities, free Wi-Ffi and a place to hang out and meet new people in the lounge communal area or the front yard. Their friendly staff have all been in your position before and have travelled both in Australia and abroad, so whether it be with travel plans locally or advice about Australia, they’re there to help you enjoy your backpacking adventure.

Apollo Bay is located on the world famous Great Ocean Road, just 2.5 – 3 hours from Melbourne. The town is in the middle of this spectacular stretch of coast so you are easily able to access and enjoy everything the area has to offer, from endless waterfalls set in temperate rainforest, to rugged ship wrecked coastlines or the 12 Apostles.
