Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve is located at the heart of the spectacular Great Ocean Road region – the only wildlife reserve west of the popular Twelve Apostles and just ten minutes from the coastal tourism hub of Warrnambool. The Reserve sits inside a dormant volcano that has a spectacular eleven kilometre crater rim. The volcanic cones rise from a lake bed in a formation known as a ‘nested maar’, which was created by a series of volcanic eruptions and events over thousands of years. Tower Hill is one of the largest Maar Volcanos in the world.
